City Code for Wireless Communication Towers and Antennas
Provide for the appropriate location and development of communication towers and antennas within municipal limits;

Panama City Beach passed on ordinance in which small wireless poles “are not permissible within 250 feet of the footprint of any dwelling, including attached garages, porches, and balconies. … Round-mounted equipment … shall not be permissible within 500 feet of any dwelling.”
Plant City city zoning ordinances require the applicant to submit their site development plan to Planning and Zoning before erecting a telecommunication tower. A cell tower must have a setback of at least 50 feet from all property lines and cannot be within 250 feet of a residential area.
All communications services facilities shall be placed and maintained so as not to interfere unreasonably with the use of the public rights-of-way by the public and so as not to cause unreasonable interference with the rights and safety of property owners who adjoin any of the public rights-of-way.
No new tower shall be permitted unless the applicant demonstrates to the reasonable satisfaction of the city commission that no existing tower, structure or alternative technology that does not require the use of towers or structures can accommodate the applicant's proposed antenna.
